You are aware that I spent 26 years in the homebuilding industry, building in excess of 7000 homes. Point is I have dealt with hundreds of contractors and subcontractors.

Our experience with you during the building of the pool for our home was - without question - the most pleasant experience with a contractor we have ever had!

Seldom do you find those who are willing to go that extra mile to please their customer, be it communication, quality of construction or just plain courtesy. You do it all, including that extra mile.

From the design including changes throughout construction never was there a negative reply but an extremely courteous, "Okay, we can take care of that."

I have always made it my policy not to recommend builders or contractors. I will advise people who not to use, but not recommend. However, you are an exception as I have and will recommend you and Elite Pools without hesitation or reservation.

Nancy & I would like to take this opportunity to thank you very much for the wonderful job your company did on our greeting fountain, bridge pool and fountain and our main wet-edge swimming pool.

Not only is the final product beautiful but the construction was on time and on budget. Additionally, as you are well aware, I had many "extra" requirements for this project; all of which were met.

I like "first class" work in all respects. Many people will talk about how good their work is but when it comes time to deliver they fall short. This was not the case with Elite Pools. The quantity of work was much larger than your "standard" swimming pool. It wasn’t just a job, it was a very large and diverse project. The quality of work met my standard and all who view the work at my house comment on its beauty and quality.

We could not have chosen a better pool company than Elite Pools. Owner Randy Herzog is a great businessman to work with. He’s helpful with ideas, very easy to talk to, and true to his word. All of his employees were extremely faithful in their daily goals and very personable as well. We were so impressed by how quickly our pool was completed, and having workers here everyday except for 2 when it rained too hard. Talk about a stress-free endeavor! We absolutely love our pool, the setting, the trickle waterfall and the spa. Our teen boys are already having lots of friends come and enjoy it too!

What can we ever say or do to thank you for the outstanding job you did on our pool? After having completed the construction of our home a year ago we were very apprehensive about hiring anyone to do anything around the house. We were tired of battling contractors on a daily basis to have them accomplish work just to our minimum acceptable standards. After a year of living in the house our contractor has yet to complete a punch list that he had had for over a year. What does this have to do with you? You have shown yourself through your actions that you are not only a person who does what he is going to do but also that you actually have high standards and are accountable. You by far have given us the best construction experience since moving to Texas three years ago.

Since we chose you and your company to do our pool we have met three other people you have worked for in the past. Every one of them said that you were the best. Elite Pools of Austin just finished building our pool, and we cannot say enough wonderful things about the company. Principals Randy Herzog and J.C. McDowell tackled the project with dedication, conscientiousness and integrity. From the moment we signed the contract and were placed on Elite's schedule, the company devoted 110% effort to the project: the various crews came on schedule, worked like Trojans from dawn to dusk five and even six days a week, and completed their part of the pool with finesse. The next crew then dovetailed with little or no lag time, and this went on until the pool was finished. Even after we had made our final payment, Randy Herzog sent workers to patch up some ragged concrete around the spa and patio--something that most pool companies would not have bothered with, especially after being paid. When the pool was finished, Randy spent a great deal of time with us in "pool school," teaching us how everything worked, and how to maintain the pool and equipment. Furthermore, we have no doubt that he will come back to troubleshoot as we become accustomed to caring for our own pool.

Elite has built a number of pools for friends of ours, and they have all raved about the company before we made our decision. Although we solicited three bids, we chose Elite--the middle bid--because we knew from our friends that the company was more than reliable, and we trusted Randy and J.C. after our initial meeting. Our instinct was rewarded--in spades. Not only did Elite finish the pool earlier than expected, but also the company brought our vision to an even more spectacular reality than we imagined. We have confidently recommended Elite to all of our friends considering pools. The company does exactly what it says it's going to do--and then some--on schedule.

Unfortunately, another friend of ours chose to use another pool company (one of those overly-ambitious pool companies with a slick sales person), and now she is kicking herself for not using Elite. After the other company dug the hole, several weeks passed before the next crew appeared. And when the re-bar (steel reinforcement) was finally installed, she was told the next crew would arrive in the next day or two. She hasn't seen anyone since. This is a story we hear about other pool companies time and time again. Randy himself is on the job from start to finish, supervising every phase.

Elite Pools is a solid company and it builds beautiful, substantial pools.

Dear J.C. and Randy,

Boy, is your company aptly named! The beautiful pool you built for me and my family is so much more attractive and well-built than any other pool I have seen. It truly is ELITE!

I wanted to write and thank you both and your crews for the great job you all did on building our pool this year.

J.C., beginning with your first visit, you were the only person I spoke to (out of 10 Salespeople) that REALLY listened to what we wanted and customized a shape to fit our yard and our needs at the same time. Secondly, you had lots of photos of the actual construction in progress and taught us about the importance of a strong, stable structure. No other salesperson had mentioned these items at all; they just showed us lots of pretty pictures of finished pools.

Then, when the work actually began, the way you carved out the shape of the pool within 1/4 inch of the outline we drew together on the ground was amazing. What artwork! Then, your rebar person was so fast, (it was unbelievable), but he did such a thorough job and whistled happily the whole time. Even dealing with rain every other day for 3 months didn't seem to put a damper on any part of the experience. Everyone was always there the day they said they would be, and completed the job as quickly, thoroughly and professionally as possible. Each one had very nice things to say about you, too! And they cleaned up behind themselves!

Though our pool was completed in April, I waited to write to make sure the follow up was what you had promised. Randy, thanks for coming out at the drop of a hat to show us how to backwash the first time, to immediately replace a faulty wire in the fiber optic system at no charge, and so on.

We have not had any problems and everything works perfectly! Our friends are all amazed at the transformation of our "desert" of a yard. It feels like we are on a permanent Hawaiian vacation right in our own backyard!

It would be an honor to recommend you and your company to anyone considering a pool. I truly shopped around, thoroughly investigating all the names, big and small, in Austin. It was amazing how your company was the only one that seemed to really care if we were pleased or not, plus your price was more than fair.
